Charles Streeter, widely known as Streeter, is a gifted drummer who hails as one of the music industry’s most successful drummers. Having developed a love for music at an early age, led his late grandfather Billie C Streeter, to purchase his first drum set at the age of two. It was his grandfather’s support that would inspire Streeter to pursue his craft relentlessly. Twenty years later, Streeter would find himself relocating from his hometown Memphis, TN to follow his dreams in Los Angeles, CA. Streeter’s expertise and multifaceted mastery of various styles of music elevated him to become an instant success. He specializes in the genres of R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Pop, and Rock.
Best known for his keen knowledge, tasteful approach, sound musicianship, along with the enthusiasm he brings to any session; Streeter exudes passion and depth every time he takes a seat behind a drum set.
Streeter is an accomplished musician and musical director who has toured with legends; Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills, The Jackson’s, Jennifer Lopez and Lalah Hathaway. He has also shared the stage with musical greats: Bocelli, David Foster, Whitney Houston, Prince, Patti LaBelle, El Debarge, Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Gerald Albright, Kenny Latimore, Eric Benet, Kirk Whalum, Stephanie Mills, Candy Dulfer, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Al Green, Denise Williams, Chaka Khan, Wynnona Judd, Brian McKnight, David Sanborn, Dave Coz, Musiq Soulchild, Bobby Brown, Jessy J, Rick Bruan, Ali Woodson, LL Cool J, and many others.

Streeter contributes much of his success to his southern upbringing. He grew up in a place and time when music was considered to be a way of life and a right of passage for many musicians. Music has always been a part of Streeter as he recalls being selected as section leader from the percussion section of his high school band. Soon after he received the highest honor of Drum Major. Streeter also marched for the University of Memphis’ band during his tenure there.
While living on the West Coast, Streeter performed with one of LA’s hottest bands “DW3” at an array of venues, concerts, cruises, and events in and out of the country.
